Lauren has always been a creative and passionate person, from early beginnings as a young artist to now working as an art educator. Being undiagnosed ADHD until age 31, she found yoga as a form of emotional regulation and a way to understand herself more deeply. She quickly became enamored with all things yoga, with a particular emphasis on meditation practices, breath work, and arm balances. To further her knowledge, she decided to complete her 200 hour YTT in Ericiera, Portugal with All Yoga in 2021. Through this training, she discovered a deep passion for sharing her practice with others. She later continued her education with a 30 hour mobility and body mechanics course and is planning to complete her 300 hr YTT this summer in Koh Sumui, Thailand.

Lauren practices yoga daily and cannot image her life without it. She loves to build thoughtful and creative sequences that leave students feeling both centered and strong, incorporating funky transitions, arm balances, mobility, and brain drills to help with balance and coordination. Lauren’s classes are rooted in the Vinyasa style and focused on challenging the body and mind to find a moving mediation that syncs asana and breath. In her mind, a perfect yoga class balances both effort with ease and novelty with familiarity. If you take Lauren’s class, you might find your way into a new arm balance, challenge your brain, or learn a little nugget of yoga knowledge along the way.
